Wine List
Here at Blue Moon Indian Retaurant, Aberdeen, we pride ourselves on being able to offer one of the most exciting selections of Fine Wines in the area. Our wine list is chosen to reflect the diversity of wines around the world and we are pleased to bring you wines from both classic areas and some lesser known regions that are making statements. We’ve also included wines from small producers to give individuality. Most importantly, the wines are chosen to complement our menu. The crisp dry whites are great with a range of starters such as pakora and also seafood. The ‘aromatics’ complement full flavoured, spicy and fruity dishes. Rose wine is so versatile that it can take you right the way through the meal. Those wines with a touch of sweetness are the best with hotter dishes. The creaminess that oak can bring marries with our dishes with cream, coconut and nuts. Our fruit driven reds are good with tomato or citrus based chicken, lamb or vegetable dishes whilst our serious and spicy reds work best with the fullest flavoured rich gravy based ones. Don’t forget that a pudding without dessert wine is like a day without sunshine. The main thing is to experiment and enjoy!
